Thank goodness for artsy people. My very talented friend Lisa did this community art project at Gilbert's Global Village. I took the girls down to support her and they helped make this framed weaving. I think she got about 6 done, and she's going to hang them in the Gilbert Public Library. Lisa is also heading up an effort to bring art sculptures to downtown Gilbert, similar to those in Mesa, so be on the lookout!
