"You want me to sit for HOW long??"

It's so rewarding to watch each of my kids as they reach different levels of reverence during sacrament meeting and general conference. The girls for the most part are pretty far up on the 1 to 10 scale, but Ethan has definitely shown the most improvement in recent months. With the exception of a 15-minute hiatus when we needed Handy Manny upstairs for Dylan and his brother naturally followed, he actually stayed in the family room for all 4 sessions of conference this time. He was quiet and even did the whole "conference" packet. I can already tell he will be a "checklist"guy. It didn't matter what he was doing at the time - coloring, building a fort for his stuffed lion - he dropped it to complete these pages for each apostle that was speaking. I especially loved that after about the 3rd one, he would automatically mark the Testimony box, saying, "They always do that."

He was even still around by the time we finally got to Elder Holland. Can't we just give that guy the entire block of time? Ethan thought he looked like this guy:He said is was the hair. And we didn't even get to this:until the very last talk this afternoon. That's a spring-jump from the couch, to the right side of the table and then an immediate jump over the obstacles and onto the floor. So all in all a very successful conference.
